“Location, Location, Location”

The location is perfect for exploring the Lecht Ski Area and the moors, mountains and high passes of the Cairngorm National Park to the west, the picturesque villages and sandy beaches of the Moray Firth to the North, all the cultural facilities of Aberdeen to the East and the leafy grandeur of Royal Deeside to the South. There are local shops and pubs at Kennethmont (2 miles), Rhynie (3 miles) and supermarkets at Huntly (8 miles). This is a lovely area for walking and there are also marked Castle, Whisky, Victorian and Coastal trails for touring as well as many visitor centres and attractions
